
Cindy Cheeks
Passionate about unleashing the inherent value within each individual, Cindy Cheeks has dedicated 18 years of service and administration to the non-profit sector. From volunteer to executive director roles, she has championed causes such as disaster recovery, racial reconciliation, poverty alleviation, increasing generosity and reducing childhood neglect.
Cindy is a student and practitioner of collective impact collaboration. Since 2018, she has served the state of Mississippi in strengthening collaboration among stakeholders in the child welfare system. Recently, she has shared her talents outside the United States with global Christian networks. A certified Hope Navigator by Dr. Chan Hellman, Ph.D., of the Hope Science Research Center at the University of Oklahoma, Cindy combines her non-profit experience and collaborative expertise with the innovative framework of hope science. She has seen the power of hope in shifting policies and programs from temporary fixes to catalysts of value and empowerment.
Cindy exemplifies a fervent commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those she serves. She readily shares her talents through services, speaking engagements and facilitated workshops. Recent engagements include the 2022 Department of Youth Services Counselors, 2023 Mississippi Balance of State Continuum of Care, 2023 Mississippi Home Corporation Developers Conference, 2022 & 2023 Mississippi Juvenile Justice Conference, 2023 Mississippi Youth Court Judges Conference, and 2023 Christian Stewardship Alliance of the Philippines.
